What is the difference between deployment and migration?
Deployment puts code that is already off the platform online. Migration also moves the database, logins and files out of Lovable Cloud, Bolt, Base44 or Replit.
What kind of server does my app need?
A React app with Vite builds to static files, which any host can serve. Projects with a server, such as Lovable apps on TanStack Start, need Node running. The diagnostic tells you which case is yours.
Whose name is the server in?
Yours. Server, domain and code are registered in the owner’s name. We work with the access you grant and hand everything over documented.
